West Michigan Whitecaps

Hi my name is Katie Johnson and I’m  the Food and Beverage Manager of the West Michigan Whitecaps in Grand Rapids, Michigan.  We’ve been using Filta for about 2 years now and we are actually going on our third season in 2011.

We’ve got many benefits using this service. One of our first benefits is safety for our employees and for ourselves. We don’t have to worry about employees spilling grease on themselves or oil and burning themselves. Spilling it on the floor and tripping and falling and slipping on that too.

Quality, the quality of the oil is much better than it used to be.  We used to switch our oil about 4 games, now we can actually go around 12, even sometimes a little bit more than that. The taste of the food has actually improved.

Cleanliness is another benefit. We don’t have to worry about calling maintenance in to come clean the fryer.  The cost savings of this service is enormous. We actually saved so much money using this service. It’s actually saving more with the service than actually it is the cost of the oil to use.

Bottom line is, using this service, it’s great, we’re happy with the service, and actually puts money back into our budget.
