How does it work?

Principle:Any object with temperatures above absolute zero emits a detectable amount of radiation. A thermal camera converts IR radiation into grayscale values, and matches grayscale values to temperature values through an algorithm model.

Application:Thermal cameras with high-temperature accuracy can help detect elevated skin surface temperatures which may indicate the presence of a Temperature. Thermal cameras can be used for the Temperature screening of travelers, shoppers, and office workers.

Key Features

  • FEVER ALARM

When users have a temperature reading higher than 100.4° Fahrenheit or 37.8° Celcius, an alarm will sound to alert the user that they have a fever.

  • WORKS WITH PROTECTIVE MASKS

The Thermometer’s facial recognition feature has been programmed to capture temperature readings of users who are wearing protective masks, though will disable readings if the user’s face is being obstructed to skew the temperature.

  • ACCESS CONTROL

Thermometer can be synced with automatic doors, or ticketing systems to restrict entry access to people who have a fever.

  • OFFLINE AND ONLINE FACIAL DETECTION

The Thermometer’s facial detection not only facilitates contactless temperature taking, but also allows for facial capturing. Used to relay data and images of users with a fever, this feature enables seamless management in high traffic locations (optional recognition)

  • OPTION FOR FACIAL RECOGNITION

(Our Solo Camera) Thermometer can be programmed to include facial recognition to capture and store valuable data.

  • HEIMANN SENSOR

(Our Solo Camera) The world’s leading German technology in infrared thermopile arrays, the Heimann Sensor can recognize and capture different levels of infrared light to accurately and rapidly detect temperatures of users within two feet of the Thermometer

  • WIFI CONNECTIVITY

Our Camera’s WiFi capability facilitates data capture and management.

  • HEIGHT OPTIONS

(Our Solo Camera) has Floor-standing and countertop models that fit the needs of specific locations and heights of visitors.

(Our Hi-Flow Camera) can be tilted up and down for the ideal camera angle.

  • MULTIPLE LANGUAGES

English, Chinese, Spanish, German, Italian, French, Russian, Vietnamese, Japanese, Korean, Arabic

  • HAND SANITIZER

An add-on option for our Solo Camera designed to keep users safe, and create peace of mind in public spaces, has a built-in hand sanitizer, and drip tray.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. What about personal privacy?
By default, facial and temperature recording is disabled on both units. The Solo’s advanced recording and reporting features may be activated based on facility preference or local city or state requirements for temperature logging.
2. Can the fever screening thermographic camera be installed outdoors?
Wind and sun can easily affect the surface temperature of the human body and the working status of the camera, which results in a deviation between the measured skin surface temperature and the actual body temperature. To ensure accuracy, we strongly recommend applying Solo and Hi-Flow indoors. If you truly need an outdoor rated solution, please contact us for other alternatives.
3. Will other heat sources (such as teacups, kettles, etc.) cause false alarms?
The cameras are able to use face detection technology, so other heat sources will not cause false alarms.
4. Can the camera detect multiple faces for a temperature measurement?
The Solo handles one face at a time, while the Hi-Flow will support up to 30 people at a time. In the event of a high-temperature alarm, we recommend a manual temperature measurement using a medical-grade device.
5. When can I use the fever screening function after a camera is turned on?
The cameras need to warm up before using. Solo needs approx 5 minutes, Hi-Flow needs about 30 minutes. Each has a continuous duty cycle and can be run 24 hours per day.
6. Do the cameras connect to my IT network
By default, wifi is disabled on both units and the thermal cameras operate independently. For advanced features, Solo and Hi-Flow both have the ability to connect via wifi or direct network connection.
7. How much training is required?
The systems have been designed to be plug and play. The system automatically monitors the temperature and generates an alarm if an elevated temperature is detected. An operator is only required to guide people through the system and provide secondary screening if an alarm is generated.
8. Will this stop people with COVID-19 coming on to the Site?
No. It is possible that a person with COVID -19 can be asymptomatic and a high temperature is only one possible symptom of the virus. Solo and Hi-Flow provide a solution to screen for a raised temperature only. These are not medical devices, and not meant to diagnose any disease.
9. Why do you need this?
To provide peace of mind for your employees and the public that your site is taking every measure possible to protect them and keep them safe while they are a guest of your facility.
10. Is there a no-risk trial period?
Yes. Reach out to our team and ask about the 5-Day Risk-Free Money Back Guarantee.
11. How do I order?
